Just want to say thanks for a great time on Saturday, the walk was brilliant!
Many thanks. Ivan & Laura
Thanks so much for taking us out on Sunday, the walk around Kinder Scout and Edale was breathtaking.

Thanks for the wonderful walk over Eyam Moor and Bretton Clough. We only saw 2 other walkers the whole day, and enjoyed the wonderful views and beautiful bluebells everywhere. You were very knowledgable about the area, and kept up just the right pace for all of us.

Had a day long walk with Cath a few days ago and cant sing her praises enough! The two of us set off on her Great Ridge walk from the village of Hope. She was knowledgeable of the area, adapted the route to suit my goals and even lengthened the walk as we made good time. A recommended, friendly guide.
Thanks, Mark
My wife and I had a great day with Cath. We signed up for a group walk to Stanage Edge area, but we were the only ones that day, but Cath was cheerful anyway. We would highly recommend her. She was in no hurry, very knowledgeable, and smiling all day.
Thanks very much!

I really enjoyed the walk on Sunday - it was great to be back in Hathersage and up on the hills. I particularly liked the fact there was so much variety on the walk and loads of interesting things to see.

I cannot thank you enough for five great days walking in the Peaks. Not only did I experience beautiful scenery but learnt so much about the history, ecology, and geology of the area. Cath’s familiarity and deep understanding of the area made these walks so much more enjoyable. And I loved that we got off the beaten track and explored areas most casual walkers would not encounter.
Thanks so much again for the walks these last two days. I really enjoyed both and got so much from them. I’m looking forward to coming up to do the Peaks walks at some point! I’ll happily recommend you to anyone else who is interested in the area.
Everything was well organized and we had a great weekend! The Plough Inn was a success as well.
Thanks for a very lovely time up at stanage edge. You were most helpful and friendly and accomodating and explained knowledgably bout passing scenery and sights. Thanks very much! :)
Cheers,
Ying
Thank you Cath for another brilliant walk last Sunday. I asked you for a tough walk as training for my forthcoming Coast-to-Coast and that's what I got - 17 miles of up and down some really good hills returning to the cars just as the light was fading.
Kind regards
Duncan
My husband and I had a great time doing The Great Ridge walk with Cath on the Bank Holiday weekend. We got lots of information whilst walking and also information beforehand on places to camp at. We are definately looking to book something for this summer. Thanks Cath!
Cath is a great guide, she is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, encouraging and above all, patient. I was the only person booked on the walk that day and I was really impressed that she went ahead with it anyway. Cath even picked me up from the Youth Hostel in the morning – how’s that for service? The hike up Kinder Scout was incredibly enjoyable and the views from the top were really impressive. Cath allowed plenty of photo opportunities throughout. I was pleased to discover that I am not as unfit as I thought I was that I still had the use of my legs next day and managed to get another few miles in. I would certainly book another walk with Cath in the future and would highly recommend Peak Walking Adventures to others.
Just wanted to say thanks for the guided walk on Saturday the 25th June. We all enjoyed ourselves and did not ache too much (just a little bit).
Kinder Scout was another great day's walking with Cath and other like-minded folk! Thanks once again for a wonderful mental and physical workout!
All you City dwellers! Roll up! Roll up!!
If you have ever contemplated taking a walking holiday in The Peak District then you have to do so with Peak Walking Adventure and with Cath the guide. Our small group was competently guided by Cath who was aware of the different level of each walker in the group, Cath was perfectly in tuned with each one in her group, in fact she made all of us feel special (that’s an admirable skill in-it-self), she pushed those who needed pushing and gently encouraged me.
For many years, I have dreamt of walking in The Peak District but somehow my busy City life refused to allow my indulgence, I made a drastic decision, researched and found my perfect walking holidays, in the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales and found Peak Walking Adventures. I closed my eyes and promptly booked my birthday treat! Yes!! You read correctly I booked Cath’s walk for a special birthday treat to myself! A total City girl that has never been on a walking holiday before, not EVER!
When I met Cath & our small group for the first time, I was apprehensive! Knots in my stomach! I was about to turn round and bolt! But the challenger in me, stood firm, as soon as we started Cath with her gentle soothing golden voice just melted all my worries away, she was so in tune with the land, an exceptionally knowledgeable guide!
Thanks to Cath and my encouraging friendly group, who all contributed to making my birthday ultra special we climbed 4 hills! I shall remember the walk with my comrades for ever! It was hard, challenging but worth every moment! The beauty of the National Park - Peak District was breathtaking, if you get the opportunity don’t hesitate book you’re walking holiday with Cath immediately!
Of course my walk, had its agreeable side effects - I promptly come back to the hotel and slept for 13hrs! Not a norm for me! My partner was amazed! Bless him - he obliged, without complaint or comment on my slumber indulgence! 4 days after, the aches and pains have gone but my memories with Peak Walking Adventure are sharp and clear. Ho! What a perfect birthday!
Cath thank you so much - you’re the best!
And to my comrades on the walk thank you for all you support, encouragement and laughter we had a lot of fun, I couldn’t have made it without you all!
Cath, I shall definitely walk with you again and again and again LOVED IT!

My girlfriend and I had a really wonderful walk along Stanage Edge in early December with Cath. Cath was a wonderful guide; really knowledgeable of the area and the local fauna and flora and also fine company. We felt we were in extremely competent and professional hands. The weather was really windy, cold and wet but we still really enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend Cath to anyone looking for a guided walk in the Peak district.
Me and Pravara enjoyed our walk along Stanton Moore on 30 December. Despite the weather, it was fantastic and we really enjoyed ourselves. Cath was a wonderful guide, very energetic, enthusiastic and full of interesting information about the land. I would highly recommend taking a guided walk with Cath and we are already planning for our next one. :)

Bob and Mary had a wonderful walk with just the right amount of anecdotal input.Good luck Cath.
My friend and I (two 40-somthing ladies)are off treking in the Himalayas in a month's time and wanted to experience some hills - we live in gently undulating Norfolk. We did two consecutive day walks of 13 and 11 miles. We are really glad we came as it was a wake-up call of what to expect in India! The walks were challenging in parts but we had a great time and finished each day exhausted but happy at our achievement. Cath was brilliant - gently encouraging slower walkers and offering lots of tips on kit. Am planning to return with some girlfriends for a more leisurely walk in the near future.
Thanks Cath for a wonderful walk on easter sunday, you have a great wealth of knowledge about the local area and about the natural flora and fauna we passed whilst on the moorlands walk. It was very well organised, the group size was perfect. Im definitely keen to come back again to the peak district to do more walks. Thanks again.
Thank's for a fantstic guided walk on Saturday. We felt in very safe hands and enjoyed not only climbing, but learning about Kinder Scout. I'm looking forward to the next one already!
just wanted to thank you once again for a very nice walk from Hathersage to Eyam. I really enjoyed your well-informed guidance and the beautiful scenery, not to mention the little teahouse in Eyam. The Castleton walk with Bobby the following day was a great experience as well.
I'll definitely come back for some of your walks if I'm in the area.
